Our Term 1 topic is “Camouflage and Other Disguises”. Camouflage is common amongst animals. They use their colouring, texture and markings to blend into their environment. Predators use camouflage to make it difficult for their prey to see them sneak up. Other animals use camouflage to hide from their predators. We will look at the 4 basic types of camouflage and how animals, big and small, living on land and sea “hide in sight”!
